Around it sits a wider kitchen than the storefront suggests. Nineteen numbered chef specialties in Hunan, Szechuan and Cantonese styles. A Thai-leaning list — pad thai, massaman curry with potato and peanut, coconut curry basil. Rice noodles thin (mei fun) and wide (ho fun). Six hibachi plates off the grill. Every chow mein comes with steamed rice and a bag of crispy noodles — chow mein here is a stir-fry, not a noodle dish, which catches people out.
Every lunch special (Mon–Sat, 11:00am–3:00pm) comes with pork fried rice and a soup: wonton, egg drop, or hot and sour. Every dinner combo adds an egg roll on top of that. The sweet & sour plates come with rice and a salad.

Yes. Sunday hours are 12:00pm to 9:30pm. Monday through Saturday we open at 11:00am and close at 9:30pm.

Star Garden is on French Road in Cheektowaga, about three and a half miles from Walden Galleria and four and a half from Buffalo Niagara International Airport. The West Seneca and Depew lines are both under a mile away. Parking is on site.
